Over the past few years, I’ve been fully immersed in new creative projects, and now I’m thrilled to finally share some of them with you.
On November 15th, 2024 at 7:00PM, I’ll unveil “BE”, a multimedia visual art project that includes photographs and a documentary short film. This project follows a diverse group of artists from across NYC, highlighting their unique journeys and reflecting on my own understanding of art, transformation, and New York City—and I’d love for you to be part of this experience
The documentary short film, created in collaboration with filmmaker Carlos Bido, follows four artists—a musician, two actors, and a painter—as they navigate their creative journeys in New York City. Through intimate interviews, the film explores their experiences of pursuing art in a city known for both its inspiration and its challenges, reflecting on the personal and professional struggles faced by trans and LGBTQIA individuals. Highlighting resilience, hope, and the strength found in community, the documentary offers a raw and insightful look at how art shapes personal identity and the shared world of New York’s vibrant artistic pulse.
Join us in celebrating creativity, resilience, and the transformative power of art in New York City!
